We find ourselves in a war of good versus evil and our country is at stake. It is time to turn back to God and take our country back from the powers of darkness. When we understand that our true enemy is the Father of Lies, the victory will be ours! The enemy wants to distract, discourage, and shame us and cause us to fight each other. This video is a call to prayer for our nation -- a plea to God to hear our prayers, forgive us, and help us win this battle against the true enemy of the people.
Esther 4:14 shows us that God has.a purpose for all of our lives. Esther became queen at a time when her people's very existence was threatened. Through extreme courage and faith in God, Esther was able to save herself and her people. It is a blessing to be living in today's world where we are all afforded the opportunity to lead others to Jesus. Maybe you were created for "Such a Time as This."
God shut the door to protect Noah and his family after they entered the ark. God is our provider, our defender, our father, and our friend. There is nothing he won't do for his children. With God there is nothing to fear. Ask God to shut you in and protect you from all evil just as he did for Noah and his family.
In Romans 8:28 we are encouraged by these words: “And we know that God causes everything to work for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.” This means that God doesn’t just use the good stuff – NO he uses it ALL – the good, the bad, and the ugly – for our good. So if it's not good yet, God's not done yet!
During the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, it's easy to forget the true meaning behind all of the parties, lights, and gifts. Jesus' birth was the greatest gift ever given and Christmas is the time that we celebrate that gift from God-- the gift of his son.
Missing someone is a sign that they mattered. They made a difference in your life. We are put on earth for a purpose. We are each wonderfully made by God and have unique talents and gifts to share with others. Are you living your life in such a way that when you are called home, the people that knew you will say that you were worth missing?
Why does God allow suffering? This question is often asked of followers of Jesus Christ and it's one that most of us just don't have an answer to. "Even Now" was written as a response to this question and based around the characters of the Bible who all suffered greatly but praised God in the midst of their suffering.
In a world where up is down and down is up, it's necessary to have someone to guide us along the way. We are blessed to have a wingman called the Holy Spirit that will show us the truth through the lies and direct us along our journey through life. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you today.
Isaiah 43:1-3 “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
We get so caught up in our daily struggles that we forget that this world is temporary. If we shift our focus to things above, we'll realize that the kingdom of heaven is coming soon. Right now, the angels in heaven are praising God and singing "Holy, Holy, Holy." Lift your voice with the angles as you join the heavenly choir singing "Holy, Holy, Holy."
When the future is uncertain, trust the one who holds the future in his hands. Allow God to lead you and cast your cares upon him. Thank God for the blessings he provides for you AND praise him for the things he protects you from.
